It’s usually made of three large snowballs of different sizes with added details for the face and other features.

Snowman Picture Drawing Step by Step Full Tutorial

Here are 12 Easy Steps to draw a Snowman Easily.

1. Draw the hat.

  • Draw a horizontal circle at the top of the paper.
  • Draw two lines down from either side of the horizontal circle.
  • Connect the two lines with a straight line.
  • Draw the bottom of the hat with curved lines.

2. Draw the head.

  • Draw a round shape head under the hat.
  • To draw the eyes, draw two small round shapes.
  • Draw a long nose of the snowman with two lines.

3. Draw the mouth and muffler.

  • Draw the snowman’s mouth with small circles arranged as curved lines.
  • Draw the muffler around the neck with two curved lines.
  • Then draw the lower part of the muffler very nicely with two lines.

4. Draw the hands and body.

  • We will make the snowman’s chest almost round in shape.
  • Then draw a circle a little bigger than the shape of the chest circle and draw the lower part of the body.
  • Very delicately make the ‘Y’ shape and draw two hands of the snowman on either side of the circle drawn for the chest.

5. Draw the buttons and snow.

  • To draw the buttons on top of the snowman’s chest, draw two small circles vertically in a row.
  • On the lower part of the body draw three round buttons in a row vertically in the same way.
  • To draw the dense snow of the lower body, draw a curved line from the right side of the drawing paper to the left.

6. Color the hat.

  • We will use black color to color the top part of the hat. Kids, you can use other colors, if you want.
  • We will do the light black color slightly above the bottom of the hat.

7. Color the hat, face, and buttons.

  • We will give dark black color to the lower part of the hat.
  • Give red color to the middle of the hat.
  • Do dark black color above the two eyes and mouth circles.
  • Kids, do dark black color on each button, very carefully and slowly one by one.
  • Use orange color on the nose.

8. Color the muffler.

  • We will give purple color above the muffler.
  • When giving purple color to the muffler, leave some space in between.
  • Make sure the purple does not go beyond the outline.

9. Paint the muffler orange.

  • Kids, now we will do orange color next to purple color.
  • Use the orange color next to the purple color in the same manner as you gave the purple color on the muffler.
  • Leave some space next to the orange

10. Color the muffler yellow.

  • Now fill every empty space of the muffler with yellow color.
  • Use the yellow collar on the blank space very carefully.

11. Color the hands.

  • The snowman’s hand is made of two tree branches, so we will use brown color to color the snowman’s hand.
  • Kids, do the brown color very carefully and slowly.

12. Color the snow.

  • Give a very light blue color to the edge of the right part of the snowman’s body.
  • Kids, then we’ll also color the top part of the thick snow below very light blue.
  • Finally, highlight the entire drawing with a black marker pen.
  • Now our snowman drawing is complete.
