Requirement Materials :
Here are the materials we need to draw this picture.
- White paper
- Pencil
- Pencil sharpener
- Eraser
- Color Box
- Tissue paper
Step 1 –
Drawing the Margins.

To start, gather masking tape and use it to create margins around the edges of your painting surface, leaving half an inch of space. No need for a scale or pencil; the tape will ensure automatic margins once removed.
Step 2 –
Painting the Sky Orange.

Moisten the sky area with water using a brush. Add a little more water to the top of the page, allowing the orange color to spread effortlessly. Apply the orange paint in such a way that it covers the entire sky area, with darker tones at the top and lighter ones in the middle.
Step 3 –
Painting the Bottom Green.

Add a touch of green paint to the bottom of the page. Thanks to the previous water application, the green color will spread smoothly. Reapply water if needed and paint the green area, ensuring even distribution, just like we did with the sky.
Step 4 –
Drying the Painting.

Using a hairdryer, carefully dry the entire painting from right to left. Make sure to maintain a clear distinction between the white, green, and orange sections, representing the colors of the Indian national flag.
Step 5 –
Drawing Mahatma Gandhi.

Begin drawing Mahatma Gandhi’s head, followed by his attire. Capture his essence as a symbol of non-violence and simplicity. Depict him wearing sheets in winter to cope with the cold. Follow the image provided for reference.
Step 6 –
Writing “Happy Independence Day”

In honor of Independence Day, write “Happy Independence Day” with a marker pen. This painting serves as a tribute to all Indians, remembering Mahatma Gandhi and celebrating the freedom they enjoy today.

Painting Gandhiji’s Body Black.

Carefully paint Gandhiji’s entire body black, ensuring that his distinctive features remain recognizable. Also, add black-colored bushes to the two corners of the painting for artistic balance.
